Kitchener/Waterloo

The cities of Kitchener and Waterloo have grown into each other and almost have become one large metropolis.
Jointly they are often referred to as  Kitchener-Waterloo, The Twin Cities or simply K-W.  Including Cambridge the three cities are know as The Tri-Cities.  (Cambridge is located just across Highway 401, wich is just visible at the right bottom corner of the map.)  The cities, however, are governed seperately so they are individual municipalities.  The Tri-Cities have a population of approximately 452,000 people.
