Guelph

Guelph is often called "The Royal City."  This name came about because Guelph was named in honour of the British royal family,  descendant of the Guelf (or Welf) dynasty.
Guelph is one of the fastest growing cities in Canada.  Its population is approximately 130,000 and its growth is about 2% per year.

One of Guelph's most famous landmarks is the Roman Catholic church building; Church of Our Lady Immaculate.
It is located on the highest point in the city centre.
